The Business Development Representative's primary responsibility at McAdams Graphics is to:
- Sell our print services and products to a wide range of businesses.
- In addition to acquiring new customers, nurture and fulfill the ongoing needs of existing clients.
- Work closely with various departments, including Customer Service, Estimating, Scheduling, and Purchasing, to provide direction to both the customer and internal teams, all while ensuring alignment with McAdams Graphics' overarching company goals.

The ideal candidate for this role:
- Should boast a minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience, including previous experience in business-to-business sales w/proven track record preferred, (print sales a plus)
- Has a bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Those with over 15 years of B2B sales experience can substitute for the degree.
- Demonstrates ability to articulate and demonstrate their process for uncovering new accounts, initiating contact, and successfully closing new business deals.
- Is highly motivated, self-starter who aspires for success (not just monetary rewards)
- Possesses a high degree of organization required to manage internal and external clients.
- Has proven success selling to customers at all levels, from Senior Executives to ground floor.
- Holds a valid Driver’s License and is available for occasional travel (less than 10%) for trade shows and to key accounts may be necessary.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Assists clients or prospective clients in evaluating current processes.
- Develops and delivers presentations, conducts facility tours.
- Coordinates internal resources to develop quote prices and credit terms.
- Assists in developing and implanting the contract process.
- Works with the Customer Service Department to keep account activities and customer expectations met.
- Coordinates customer training, assists in developing cost-saving ideas for their projects.

Compensation and Benefits
Our competitive compensation package includes a $70,000 base salary complemented by a robust incentive program, translating to realistic first-year earnings of $125,000, and even higher for top performers. Lead Press Operator

Summary:
Reporting to the Press Supervisor, the Lead Press Operator will assume responsibility for
maintaining a safe working environment while respectfully leading a team of two or more to
set up & run an inline finisher web offset press to produce a high-quality printed piece as
efficiently as possible. As a team leader, you are not only concerned with the quality and
quantity of daily production, but also with guiding, supporting, directing, training and
motivating your team.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety & housekeeping procedures related to
press and crew. - Prepare and operate the press, making any needed adjustments (i.e., color, registration,
folds, perforations, mounting plates, paper change, color change, etc.). Setting up the
Rotary Cutter. - Examine job tickets to determine quantity, stock, colors, packaging, and any special
printing instructions. - Prepare proper and accurate paperwork.
- Visually inspect press impressions, checking quality & details necessary to meet
customer requirements. - Perform preventative maintenance tasks regularly to keep equipment in good working
condition and report maintenance and safety concerns when they arise. - Organize work area, maintaining a safe & clean environment with everything in its
place. - Monitor team member performance, while also mentoring, supporting, and training
team members along the way. - Take a lead role in problem-solving and work with team members to find solutions.
- Make ready the press (set rotary cutter, folding plows, gluers, units).
- Light mechanical (such as roller setting, roller changes, and bearing changes).
- Matching and replicating proofs (matching color and watching register) by means of the
computer console. - Proofing jobs for imperfections.
- At times assisting your team members thus on occasion, filling ink fountains, gluers, roll
changes, stacking, using a fork truck or hand truck. - Maintaining the quality of the job throughout a press run.
- Training your crew members.
- Occasional press maintenance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a Press 2nd role; Lead Operator and inline
experience a plus. - Working knowledge of color, registration, press procedures, press terminology, job
flow, etc. - Basic math skills and strong mechanical aptitude.

2nd Press Operator

Summary:
Reporting to the Press Lead Operator, the 2nd Press Operator will assist in the responsibility
for maintaining a safe working environment while respectfully working with a team under the
supervision of the Press Lead to set up & run an inline finishing web offset press to produce
high-quality printed product as efficiently as possible. As a 2nd Press Operator, you are not only
concerned with the quality and quantity of daily production but also with learning the Lead
Press Operator position. You will be responsible for helping and training crew members in the
jogger and roll tender positions.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety & housekeeping procedures related to
press and crew. - Prepare the press and assist the Lead Operator in making any needed adjustments (i.e.,

What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience on an offset printing press or 2-3 years in a high-paced manufacturing environment; being a 2nd pressman with inline experience a plus.

Bindery Machine Operator 1

Summary:
The Bindery Machine Operator 1 will assist in the responsibility for maintaining a safe working
environment while respectfully working with a team to assist in the set up and running of
assigned bindery equipment. You may be assigned on press to assist in the boxing of inline
finished jobs.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and operate bindery machines to cut, fold, assemble, and glue printed materials
- Inspect and adjust machine settings to ensure quality of finished product
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make repairs when necessary
- Keep records of production runs
- Operating/running setting up/programming cutters
- Setting up the Shrink Wrapper / Operating a Shrink Wrapper
- Running/Feeding a folder (learning and being taught to set-up)
- Assist with Mail Sorting
- Catching/Packaging off back of various equipment including press
- Inspect completed workpieces for quality and piece size
- Jogging Paper on Cutters
- Be taught and learn how to use a Transomat stacker and knows bulk pack patterns
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
- Operate both electric and manual hand trucks.
- Other duties as assigned, i.e. general department housekeeping, etc.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to read, follow instructions, and understand how to read a ruler
