Self Mailers

Self mailers can be designed as an efficient package for product and service order forms, announcements, memos, notices, and many other correspondence materials. The mailer can serve the purpose for information sent to a recipient without a response request or it can be a business reply piece, such as a credit application or an order form from a catalog.

The mailer could also serve both purposes of information and response (which promotes a quicker response time from the customer). Self mailers save time, handling and mailing costs by eliminating the need for a mailing envelope.

If your booklet is being mailed, consider a self-mailing option. Use a tab, or cover wrap for shipping, and our inkjet service for addressing. Or use an envelope.

QUICK CHECK FOR ALL DIGITAL FILES

To ensure the consistant and accurate processing of your job, please read the "Do's and Dont's" below:

Do:

  • Include all fonts and images for all page layout documents.
  • Use layers to create any common files with common plate changes (i.e. code changes).
  • Center all PDF documents.
  • Include trim marks for all PDF documents.
  • Bleed at least .125"

Don't:

  • Create a document inside another document (e.g. a 4x6 card within an 8.5x11 document.).
  • Use RGB color.
  • Use RGB images.
  • Use hairline sizes.
  • Use any System fonts.
  • Stylize fonts (otherwise known as 'Pseudo' styling).
  • Overprint knockout or reverse type.
